Perfume Oil Inspired by Promise by Frédéric Malle

Promise is a rich amber, rose and woody fragrance that opens with vibrant pink pepper, rosemary and crisp apple before revealing a warm heart of Bulgarian and Turkish rose with clove. As it settles, patchouli, labdanum, cypriol and ambroxan create a smooth, resinous base with warmth, depth and lasting character.

Not for me

Thought I'd sample this scent as I've tried another F.Malle inspired scent previously and liked it. VOW is a scent I'd appreciate on someone else. Sitting here in a crowded airport and I could smell it thinking, i smell as if I'd been on cigars - and I don't smoke. Perhaps, it is 'well made' -if you have tried the original (I haven't) but it is just too masculine for me. Thanks POE.
